Yeah it gets caught winding through rocky sections because it's wide down low, cuts corners tighter than the bike. The stand rattles loose eventually & falls down so you will want another strap to hold it up. If you have a 29r it will drag on the tire going over humps, the bar is a bit too short.

Heres some stoke from January, first time working on making a video. Used Imovie. I feel like i color corrected every clip differently and a few things could be better but all in all pretty stoked for a first time effort.

Thanks for the advice. I'm not on a 29er as I have to make it a little more fair for my buddies to keep up with me on theirs

As for skiing, found some great snow on North and somewhat East exposure. Get after it!!

Nice work kids! The Golden kids join the team so that they can go rip the mountain for a couple of days and not sit in class. In fairness to them, there is no actual program here, just throw up some gates and try it. Most groms here are into the free skiing thing through Gnar (Golden Alpine Rippers). Perhaps free skiing will be the next high school competition…..highly unlikely seeing as the amount of paperwork to take school kids to the museum.

It's the same in invermere, there's a couple keen racers with world cup connections but for the most part they look forward to the free ski part of the ski days.
My kid said the best part of the trip was meeting Tanner Hall.

Thanks Pano-dude for the access beta. Got 'er!

West coulior of Mt Farnham (biggest dog in the Purcells- 3483m). Anybody know if it's been done? Got to within 50-100m of the summit, could go higher possibly but it wasn't filled enough. I assume it could be better, there was little snow and obvious heavy wind scarring on other nearby features.

Trip to Banff start this Friday: 10 days in the area including Golden & Revy. Guess sun-block and rain gear will get packed.
Any hikes (non-ski) recommended to mix-up groomer crushing? Bars/Eats/Vistas not to be missed?

Thanks in advance - and if anyone is up for cocktailing in Banff this weekend, drop a note!

    ^ How was the tour?

Spent last week in the rockies, being a coast skier tourist...

Ski rapped into Grand Daddy, because that's what apparently all the cool kids ski... except someone decided to side slip the top section of it, so that was pretty lame...

    TR coming soon!

    Nice pic!

Tour was pretty, but skiing was shitty... you know, pretty much what I expected.

Got some sun and great views so can't complain, really.

This one hits hard as he was a positive influence on so many people. Robson was a great guy with infectuous joy for the mountains. My heart goes out to his family and young son.
