Interesting real names I've seen lately

Two names of live folks that I have seen in the course of earning my keep at the office come to mind that made me chuckle. Unfortunately there is no one else sufficiently immature here for me to share with, hence this thread.

A lady of Khmer extraction named Sokha Thong and Dawn Spear.
Damn, we're in a tight spot!

I've also heard of the Ladasha name....but the same person told me about a girl named *kwanda (StarKwanda). Apparently he heard about them from a relative who is a principle of a elementary school in Oakland.

Cannot make up... well you could - but they're not.

Went to high school with an Amanda Blow.

Worked with a guy named Harry Johnson in South Dakota.

You gotta wonder: are the parents completely oblivious or trying to make a joke?

Speaking of which, I saw the name Joe King once. Girl in my HS was named Jennifer Furr, aka Jenny Furr.

I know two sisters named Cara and Marsha Mellow.

The "Amanda Blow" one - I hope was an accident and then years later they realized their mistake with horror.

My mom works at a high school in an area with a lot of Asian immigrants. When they get off the boat, they get to choose an 'engrish' name. They had to convince a girl a couple few years ago that just because 'Pussy' translated very nicely in her native good language, it isn't a good name to choose.
