Undercuff ski glove recs?

Been trying to find a good undercuff glove for a couple seasons. Shops here in eastern wa don't seem to carry much in that style so I'm asking what's on your hands? Read through some old threads but would like some up to date insight. Help me retire my snoseal covered work gloves. Thanks

I have both the Hestra VC and Kincos. Both work equally well for the application. I tend to wear the Hestras a bit more now because as the scientific research on TGR has proved; dexterous as fuck.

I also like the BD gloves. They fit me much better than Hestra and durability seems good. I like their over-cuff designs better, but for under-cuff go Legend for really warm, Kajia for mid-weight, Spy for lightweight.

I hear that a lot. For some reason I get claustrophobic in over cuff gloves. I guess I was locked in too many toy chests by my brother when I was little. Keep them coming guys.

Try falling less. It does wonders for keeping snow out of your sleeves.

Hestra Army Leather Wool.

Nice full leather glove with a wool liner you can remove. Pull out the liner at the end of the day to dry them out, if the liner gets stinky from some sweat you can wash it but being wool it won't get stinky like a synthetic. When the liner wears out it's easy to replace.

The full leather outer shell you can snowseal the crap out of it and it will bead water. Keep applying snowseal every couple weeks and they'll last a long time.

Outseam construction that if they do blow a stitch they can easily be fixed. Also the outseams are more comfortable on the grip.

How is the fit with the Hestra vc's? My hands measure 9-3/8"circ and 7-3/4"length. Do they run big because I don't want to be swimming in a 10?

Get 'em small a tad small, and they'll break in nicely. (Hands will be cold until they break in, tho. Stupid? Probably.)

^^ If you're between 2 sizes (for Hestra) definitely error on the smaller side.

Hestras have been so good to me I haven't put any money anywhere else. Vertical cut is probably the best glove money can buy. Looks like the changed the name of the glove I used to the dexterity (again dexterious as fuck) although it's not as warm as I'd probably like, for cold days I mitten and puffy it up cause I'm old now at almost 31. The Vertical Freeride is certainly warmer with more loft.

As far as sizing goes Hestra sizes by foot size. If you wear a 9 shoes try a 9 glove and so on, I agree with the others, size them a hair tight and they will break in, and oil the fuck out of them.

Good thread I too can't stand gauntlet gloves.
