What's the funniest thing someone has said to you on a chairlift? (maybe not recognizing you)

How many times over the past few years have you heard the pro call out from the movie GNAR?

How does your "Oscar" acceptance speech go?
I crash often, mostly little hang ups, or stunt gone wrong, a lot of controlled falls where its easier to go down sooner than later. when its soft its all good. In ak this year I had hang ups, or tumbles, or close calls on almost every line. Conditions were a lot different to last year where I skied 4 weeks with out crashing at fantasy camp.

yes, if I let the shag out I get noticed pretty easy, but if I roll in the ballaclava with the hair tucked in im fairly low profile. I dont mind it really, its usually just other skiers who love to ski, I can relate, and love collecting the vibe.

Ive overherd some good ones... but my memory is bad.. .it would take too long to dredge something up...
Gnar on the other hand ... All the time! best one was a guy, saying it at snowbird, then dropping in, crashing, loosing a ski, and tumbling toward rocks. stops, looks up an says... " just kidding".

    Sage, in case you missed-
If you were to do a big line/AK ski, without regard to marketing constraints, what would you make?

And yeah, if you can judge a person by how kind he is to kids- you rock, my grom adores you and you have always been amazingly friendly at the TGR events.

No I do have some speakers mounted in my helmet, but I can still hear the outside world.
Morrison, Ralves, and Mac, they are fast, Ligare too... Ive seen those guys fly!!!
No I have a good relationship and huge respect for Ski Patrol.

Do you have a vision of where you want your career to go? Keep filming and see what happens? Move to R & D with a ski company? Get more into art?

Any plans to compete this year?
thanks fun times! Well I see many potential options, for now I see the next 6+ yrs continuing in the direction that I have been on course with, focused more and more on big mountain and less freestyle. After that I see a fusion of my passions and skills fusing together for the future. I love art, building, production, lighting, design, filming, photography, some how these interests and skills will coalesce into my future.
not sure about competitions, I do love the powder oriented ones.

Not that one, it will crash after falling off the end of the treadmill, unless its a great treadmill in the sky, in which case the 747 will swoop downward at the end of the treadmill in a stall until it gets enough speed to recover

I should also ask the follow-up question:

Who else would you like me to organize an AMA with? Another TGR skier/rider? Todd Jones? One of the cinematographers or editors? Or someone else entirely? Lemme know...

I'd tune in for Todd, Seth, Ian, etc..... good stuff. I meant to ask Sage if he surfs and was planning on surfing while in Hawaii.

    Good job Ryan!

Hugh for sure. First and only question: Can you name a noun that doesn't majorly piss you off?
