WTBorrow: Have a GoPro you don't use 99% of the time?
I met Kevin who runs the Homeless GoPro project in San Francisco. He is using it as a way to illustrate the life of some homeless volunteers recommended by local nonprofits. His videos have been used to increase empathy and reduce the tendency to ignore this population in the city. While there are some people in every population that have issues, they are often an extreme of some sort.
Kevin needs more GoPros. He has worked on this project and ironed out some of the kinks and now needs more GoPro access. I don't work for or with him but I will be lending him my GoPro for the project during the early half of each week. If you live in the Bay Area and want to help out, shoot me an email or contact him through homelessgopro.com or homelessgopro@gmail.Someone once told me that I ski like a Scandinavian angel.

What's to stop the bumps from absconding with their borrowed gopros?
Brandine: Now Cletus, if I catch you with pig lipstick on your collar one more time you ain't gonna be allowed to sleep in the barn no more!
Cletus: Duly noted.

I find it impossible to believe anybody can ignore the homeless in SF. Between the constant smell of piss and their shit on the sidewalk every morning their presence is always known.
Be careful about buying snowboard goggles for skiing. Snowboard goggles come in right eye and left eye (for goofy-footers) dominant models. This can make it hard to see correctly when skiing because you are facing straight down the hill, not sideways.

@cruiser the team keeps a volunteer with the street photographer and is a sort of escort to reduce muggings or trade/selling pressure. The chosen photographers are hand picked for their stories, stability, and probably message. The honest truth about it is that the beginning of any project like this focuses on success story type stakeholders and inspires/engages others to get involved. The founder has made and sold start up social tech companies in the past and is pretty experienced with this population. @Crystal_Mt_Dreamin I hope you aren't referring to the resort in the Seattle area. What is there to dream about?
