Maybe you know this but onions and garlic should not be planted together. fyi
My garlics are buried again by snow but it will be gone by the weekend if the forecast is right.watch out for snakes

Mine are in separate beds, but from what I understand you can grow them together just fine. They carry the same diseases, so it is good to rotate, to avoid allowing bugs to develop.

Missing for not planting together? I thought they companions well with each other, brassicas and tomatoes.

I think it may have something to do with competing for the same nutrients or possibly disease.
watch out for snakes
