It wasn't that crude, prolly higher quality than your standard cheapie-drone-cam. We did a pretty cool shoot with Nohow off Wolverine Cirque a few years back, the footy was great but it never made it into PowWhores. TH probably still has it somewhere on one of his edits. We also did another attempt down Pinball Alley off Sup, but weather was too foggy for clear shots.
Trackhead is around, on the road a lot. He's into upskirt vids these days, I hear

Trackhead's footy was actually really good and smooth, he did one for Solitude that I remember, a village tour, that was pretty cool. we saw a lot of his stuff on here over time, it was all quite good and very advanced especially for the time period (like 5-7 years ago).

My query is about the right to fly a private drone, which I think is technically illegal....not about taking pics in a public space.
edit:
Looks like they're only illegal for use in commercial applications. "Federal aviation only ask that enthusiast don't fly near airports or above 400ft".... "Right now the Federal Aviation Administration says it is illegal in the United States to operate a drone for commercial purposes, but the agency is considering exemptions for certain kinds of industries like film and agriculture."

What's the difference between a drone and an rc plane for these purposes? It seems like if it's controlled directly is more of an rc plane. But if course then there are people who have fpv rigs that can go a ridiculous distance and maybe shouldnt count as rc planes.

Meh - to me it's like living on a big lake. Pretty enough and hey - at least it's water!

So when did rc toys become drones?

I ski plenty. Our states are small.
2-1/2 hrs gets me trailside here. Note same reason above.
My backyard.
I know there's better places to live. Always is. Not too bad here. Feel free to on it some more tho. Sorry to shift focus away from batshit crazy chick.
