    Antone here skied Denali?

I meant ANYONE here skied Denali

I'm using Google Earth and the SPOT reports to follow some guys I know who are on the way to the summit with skis.

They checked in here for 5/26 - 28:

    N 63.02394, W 151.18686

    And here, 5/29-31

    N 63.07457, W 151.14601

Curious as to what they might be up to and what to expect in the trek ahead.

Everyone staying put at 14 camp. They may have a window of good weather in the next few days. Lots of snow the last few days y mucho mas viento. The Autobahn is nuttin but ice ice baby. Best of luck to them. Hope they're not planning on skiing the Messner after the latest snow/wind event.

The Wildsnow map was helpful. My guys checked in at Camp lll (14k) an hour ago. N 63.06983, W 151.07866

We'll see how the weather holds. I lent the ski pulk I made to the expedition and want to get it back. Probably should have asked for a phone number.

Just got off the mountain. Lots of mags skiing. Nuero is on the mountain (probably 14k camp by now) with a crew from Vancouver. Jbski is at 7800 or 11k camp right now. As mentioned above Bean summited a couple days ago and flew off with us today. Stoked to see so many people getting after it. Hoping for a safe and successful trip for the mags still out there.

Hmmm. Might not be the guys I'm thinking about as they flew out Friday after summiting on Wednesday.

Btw the Google maps image you posted is " The Edge of the World" a popular sightseeing walk a couple min from camp.

Some cat from the Pyrenees just obliterated the speed ascent record (BC, summit, BC).
