If you could bring someone back from the dead for a show...

Who would it be? This was inspired by this stupid photo my friend shared. I say stupid because who the fuck would pick Whitney or Winehouse? And where the hell are others like Adam Yaugh, Jerry Garcia, Bradley Nowell, Biggie to name a few recents.

So, who is yours? It doesn't have to be from this picture obviously.

I think Joe Strummer would top my list, followed by Levon Helm. While I would love to see Jerry again, I saw him a bunch, and never got to see the Clash.

John Bonham. Would LOVE to have seen those guys Live. Hendrix is a close second.

Saw plenty of Grateful Dead and Jerry Band shows. The only way I'd want to revive Garcia is if we raise Pigpen as well.

If Strummer arose from the dead I'd go see either the Clash or the Mescaleros - his call, which would probably be the latter since I bet he's still pissed at Mick Jones.

    More recent: Layne Staley.

I would like to see and hear Robert Johnson play guitar. I can't even imagine what he would do with an electric guitar.

If you bring one back you have to let one go,

so, which "artist" has to die in order for this to happen?

Bieber can fuck the fuck off out here for anyone. Hell, I'd rather have Tiny Tim than that POS.

Take your pick from the current top40.

    Not getting the McCartney hate.

Good choices here... I'll also throw Jeff Buckley into the mix, although he probably wouldn't be my number one.

And this discussion assumes that when they're brought back from the dead they're not decomposing zombies, correct?
