    2014 Pro Challenge

Well, the course has been set: http://velonews.competitor.com/2014/...-finish_326534

I think the Kebler Pass downhill, on dirt, followed by a finish up to Mount Crested Butte should be interesting, not to mention the Monarch Pass finish. That one is probably steep and long enough to do some real damage. Finally, a real mountain top finish. Thoughts?

I like many of the stages but some are meh to me b/c they are repeats. So much great potential out there but they generally stick to a handful of routes. It'll be fun though, always is. Hopefully they'll allow camping on Indy or at least Monarch.

I think it's pretty damn cool looking. Monarch Pass will be a twofer, so that'll be a fun spot for spectating...then finish up with a drop down Greens to the brewery. Hot damn.

McClure and Kebler will be rad. They should go chainless down Kebler, hopefully they don't make them hit the hard left on the street at the bottom.

The Woodland Park to Breck stage looks cool too. That is a really unique route choice and will even throw a little Red Zinger at the field with that little punch up Red Hill.

Good call, although I might head the other way on Agate to avoid some chaos. Just noticed it actually ends at the ski area, not the pass however.

Anyone excited for next week? I'm planning on being on Monarch Wed, Vail Pass Sat and Lookout Mtn Sun.
Too bad Froome and Sagan aren't here though.

Annd here it goes. Whole lot of money funneling into this road bike scene. Where do these big bucks come from?

Great opening stage today! Interesting attacks on the last lap.. and the fact that it seemed C'dale punched themselves out early was a bit surprising.

I think they were all in for Viviani or nothing. Ended up being a small group into town though.

Yeah, that last lap was wild. How was the scene in Aspen?

Good from what I hear, I watched from my office. May try to get over to McLain Flats here in a few and check them out going by.

I'm annoyed that they're not showing coverage via the tour tracker of the first half of the race....they've already gone over McClure

Why does this always happen here and not in France? The weather was way worse there this year.

    And they're back at it...

Way too many people in that chase compared to the stop.. as said by announcers.

Glad the recap show had more coverage of the descent. Still no idea why they stopped the race. Fun day though.

That was an exciting finish. I can't believe how fast TVG and Howes were reeling that guy in.

Post race interview with Howes really captured the dickishness of a middling pro roadie. He's pretty salty for a guy who is currently winning.
