    Shipping Chamonix-->Seattle?

    Anybody know the cheapest/easiest way to ship a pair of skis from Chamonix to Seattle? Or know any mags in Cham who you could direct me to?

    I need to figure out shipping for a pair of sticks ASAP

    Thanks

    When I buy skis from Telemark Pyrenees, they ship them DSL and charge me $50. I am uncertain what it actually costs them.

    Overseas shipping seems to generally cost more than a pair of skis if you don't have a logistics partner and send a pretty decent number of pairs in a season.

    Anything less than 150cm is generally accepted by the post service and pretty cheap, once you go 150cm+ it means DHL or similar and you're in the territory of a new pair of skis. YMMV, of course.

    L+W+H must be under 200cm at La Poste for international packages (Colissimo), so it's not going to happen. The only affordable way is to get someone to get someone to fly them over as a piece of luggage.
