It's inconvenient. If I don't want the package left by the mailbox at the end of the driveway, I have Fedex or the USPS deliver it. The UPS guy won't deliver packages to the porch or front door after the incident.

I lived with a dog once who went ballistic over a construction crane that went up overnight about 300 or 400 yards away. It was only about 60 feet tall but it stuck out on the horizon.
Took me a bit to figure out he was anti-construction. Probably a tree hugger or at least a tree pisser too.

No evidence of racial bias but once these dogs have their mind set - no going back. He barked at that crane every single time we left the front door until the project was finished two months later.

but I had several friends who were vietnemese and some were very dark skinned. she was cool with them for years and they would play and pat her. but she would not let black people in the yard.

I grew up with a GSD. She was the sweetest dog. She only ever hurt a flea or two, but everyone used to cross the street when they saw her coming.

Meanwhile everyone wants to pet and say hello to the little racist when we walk him.

my old Bull Terrier was a gentle soul and only growled at individuals I could not stand regardless of colour or smell but never did he attack or had to
it was more like a fuck off or else type growling and those few people got the message

on the flip side I could always find out who disliked me cause he wouldn't give them the time of day and he loved being social and playful

My guy is super sweet too. Just loves pretty much everyone and thing. Oddly, at the dog park, there are always a few labs that will run over and growl at him. A few big barks and a bad ass attitude quickly send them running. Then all is fine except for the lab owners giving us the stink eye.

I think the UPS guys keep a list of the wacky dogs, as a UPS guy was walking into my yard last week and I told him he didn't have to do that and he remarked "O, I know your dogs are cool" and he wasn't the regular guy that my dogs love because he always gives them a cookie.

I had a norwegian elkhound that went after anyone wearing a hat or uniform, which was kinda cool cause he automatically wouldn't let cops get out of their cars if they came to my house. My gf's ex was a cowboy, so the dog hated him and kept him in the car, too.
I loved that dog.
