Bump for nostalgia. I've got Explosives, Pow +, and Spatulas all skiable and broken out when the time is right. For more recent "old" skis I still make turns on AK 183 Bros, OG Cochise, and some pre-rocker Ski Logic Ullr's Chariots that are currently awaiting a tele remount for futzing around with the kids.

Whatcha skiing that's stood the test of time?

'13 LP105's get used regularly. Still have some '08-ish XXL's mounted up, but haven't skied them in a while. Also still have some '08 Volkl Kuros that see use when conditions warrant (which was zero this year).

    2006 OG 194 Dynastar Legend Pro's. I also have a pair of Atomic SX11's 180 2003?
196 PM Gear Lhasa Pows late 2000's Don't Rember the year. I actually sold them to a maggot and then bought them back.

Timeless Skis - What is the oldest ski in your quiver that you still use?

    180cm Wizard ‘Sploders (2002?)
    184cm Lotus 120 (2013?) and 178cm Wailer 105s (2011?) Both Hybrid.
All of ‘em still ski great although the 105s are well past their prime. Starting to feel sorta dead. Just can’t retire ‘em although I probably should. Other two have super low mileage 9/10 condition.

Got these 2011 Salomon Pro Pipe skis from a mag a couple years ago and they’re still going strong, use them for firm days in New England. They are pretty damn stiff, have tons of camber and can be a bit of a handful compared to modern skis but they keep me honest. I wouldn’t call them timeless but I’m still using them.

A lot of my skis are older now, circa 2010 +/- a few years. There's never been a better pure pow ski made than the DPS Lotus 138, and the ones I use the most are are from 2008 IIRC.

Oldest skis I have that I use when conditions call for it are still Spatulas, from 2003 - no change from my old post in this thread from 2014, though they're now a different pair of Spatulas than they were back then.

The ones with the flames were 2006-2008 iirc, I know they had a two year product cycle back then.

I still bring out a pair of Atomic SL 12s (2009?) from my college race days a couple times a year.

Daily driver has been 2014 moment PBJs, but they are past their last leg…

Timeless Skis - What is the oldest ski in your quiver that you still use?

-Bunch of late 80s/90s kids skis I saved from garbage when my parents cleared out the garage ski collection years ago, holding for sentimental purposes but my 3yo did ski one pair of them recently the ones that had straps for bindings
-90s(I think) K2 Outlaw bump skis...these were my main ski in high school during a time I was snowboarding a lot as well. Haven’t skied them since retiring them in the mid-2000s
-2003ish Dynastar Troublemaker the ones with the gloss green face top sheet. Still have em haven’t skied in long time but bindings set to my current boot that I’ve had for long time
-2011ish Dynastar 6th sense basically same thing as my troublemakers and were also my daily driver in that era, used to ski a lot of bump/park skis for all around use I guess...also set to current boot
-2012 Volkl Mantra - the original Mantra spec, current daily driver love these things
-2015 Volkl One ski these every once in a while when conditions call for it or when out west

The rest of my stuff that’s newer is my touring gear which ain’t so new any more either.

Got myself a Dynastar Big Dump at a garage sale. I am halfway excited and halfway scared just by looking at them.

Oh yeah, I have og BGs too. 2007 I believe. I don’t dislike them as much as others around here but just don’t get them out much. I live in the east and they are set up w pivots and I alpine ~20% of the time. Keep ‘em mostly for nostalgia.

I picked up some 2010/11 vintage DPS Lotus 120s this season. Got then to replace some 2013 blue 120s that bit the dust. I might like the older ones even better. Better flex, lighter, but not as chargey. I also ski some 80's Fischer Phantom telemark skis in the spring with leather boots just for kicks.

Still regularly use my OG Coombas - loved that ski and still looking for a comparable replacement.

But I also have shit from ancient times that I tell myself someday I’ll let them ride again like my 70s era Rossi STs and ‘82 Elan GS sticks. So those don’t really count because I couldn’t say the last time they hit snow but they’re still ready lol
