Tough crash at Tour of Flanders...
Last I read, Vansummeren is recovering well with a few stitches. The woman is still in criticle... Don't know what they were doing in that spot. Hope she makes a full recovery.
On another note... Paris Rubaix up next.

wow. didn't see that one this morning on the eurosport feed. quite a few big wrecks today as well as the last few races. paris roubaix should be good.

Really great Ronde. I was pulling for GVA at the end. Can't believe how much work that dude did. I think he spent half the race in the wind.

^^^ ever road race in a tight pack? Only thing you see is backs and elbows. Riders hit road furniture all the time like this, which is usually why they have gendarmes waving flags rather than a bunch of spectators on the islands.
Still a bummer for both spectator and JVS. He's always a contender at Paris - Roubaix...not this year.
