    Dynafit Radical 4.25? Heel Spring Shock Absorber - developed slop/movement

    See lou's article here about newer spring shock absorbed radical heel posts.

    That look like this when dissembled.



    Mine seem to have recently developed a significant degree of movement.

    Anyone experienced this.

    Probably pull them off skis tonight... don't really want to have to do that but.... to see if perhaps the captive nut/threaded wedge thing has moved/failed?

    May just try and find a pair of the older baseplate/brake assembly to replace them with.

    Ideas?

    Wondered if anyone else had noticed similar problem.

    are you one of them there software types ?

    I used to work with an SE who had come over to HW, he could spend hours obsessing about what might be wrong on a request for service instead of just driving 10 min to take a look
