nice. Actually my description of teh season would be "on the road". my last ski day "close to home" was november 30th.

Hey Klar, yours almost motivated me to pull together a Japan - Kita Alps - TR of my own... but it would fall well short, and all stage, no actors.
Your skis looked a familiar color. 6's? Like?
My friend from "northern Europe" wears a backcountry skirt and deploys it when it gets cold, folds it up at other times. I reckon they're pretty cool.Life is not lift served.

Magnificent Klar, thank you for posting.
Liked it all, the chamois - gemse ? and Sahara dust interesting, desert dust didn't reach this far north, London got it though.
I Occasionally wear a Highland kilt, and i am now inspired to ski tour in it now !
We cancelled our trip to Innsbruck earlier this year - no snow - gutted
