Revelator Splitboard - born in the Wasatch!!!!

Neil Provo's point of view riding the Revelator Splitboard, about 20 miles away from its birth place in Salt Lake City at Voile Manufacturing. Utah's Wasatch mountains are an incredible place for building and testing splitboards, and this new board from Voile is a perfect match for the terrain. March 2014.

Anyone have experience with the Revelator BC? It's basically the same as the Revelator, but its got fishscales (located underfoot in touring mode).

I found 2 reviews online, one said it was the same as the normal Revelator on the way down and the other said it was a little slower.

Touring in the EC, so lengthy approaches and low angles are a thing. Just concerned at how much performance is given up in DH mode due to fishscales.

    Thx.

    fishscales on a split?

I guess I don't understand the time savings here. Putting on skins doesn't take very long compared to the time spent splitting the board and setting bindings.
