SIFF13: ISLANDS - Full Movie
Done and done, happy to have another year in the books. Two game changers for me in 2013, 1) learning about triggerfish, 2) buying an 8ft ladder. Won't have a shot at triggers in '14, but will spend a ton of time on the perch.
Carve out some time, make full screen/HD, put on headphones and a buzz. Hope you like it:

Well done Mush!! Fun to watch your vids get better each year, plus you stuck some hogs!!
I couldn't believ how fast those fish (GT's?) were swimming chasing in that inlet. Truly awesome.

Holy good god. That gt spot was unreal. Awesome stripah footy too. Can't wait to see what you come up with next!

Definitely burned into the memory bank. A couple of those fish were probably unlandable from where that location without being strapped to ground.
Really hoping to get out someplace different again soon, but looks like our Bahamas trip fell through... Just more time to spend on the ladder this year, and hopefully the tunoids reappear after being non-existent last year....And the greatest ice must crumble when it's flower's time to grow.

The folks are our end all dug it! let me know when you need some goods.
BTW the scene where he (you?) is casting one way and turns around to notice fish busting just a few feet behind you is priceless.

Awesome work as usual. That trip to the islands must have been surreal.

Totally will do, getting close on that...and yessir, that's me and yes, that was a fantastic and calm morning off Block Island with a nice sandeel bite going on!
hope you like it...hope you can wait 2 more months to get back in it!
y'know, it was just too short. 6 days of fishing for 3 very full days of travel tips the scale a bit too far, always felt i was counting the seconds and never got a chance to feel fully immersed..
thank you sir!...And the greatest ice must crumble when it's flower's time to grow.

Wow, that was great!
I used to see people fishing from ladders out on Monomoy, but unfortunately that fishery has basically disappeared due to the massive influx of seals.
The GT footage was great as well, and the windy days out on the flats are pretty much exactly what i've experienced when I've been out for them as well.
I might have to walk out on the jetty this weekend just for shits and giggles and take a cast or two.

Cool to see the ladder usage. I cut my teeth on ladders fishing Pyramid Lake, NV way back in the early 90's. Gearing up one day and see this old dude pull a 12' ladder out of his truck. I went over and asked what he planned on doing with it. He invited me to come watch and give it a try. Well after 1hr of watching him land some huge fish, I was convinced.
