Yeah I know there is poverty in the mountains. But as someone who looks at children in poverty numbers 5 days a week, there is an order of magnitude more in Front Range than anywhere else in the state. Sometimes you gotta do shit due to the sheer number of kids you're putting in danger.

Mullen has been that way since I was a kid. Can't get your range rover's dirty meow.

Excellent point. We can't view the world through the prism of our privileged lives.

Last week driving down 70 saw a silver Suby Impreza with roof box that had Change For A Nickel sticker and a Fuck Vail sticker on the trunk. Who be that?

This exactly. I have students that don't own snow boots and will show up on a snowy/cold day with shoes with holes in them and a hoodie for a jacket in Denver.

    https://www.vaildaily.com/news/two-v...ver-two-hours/

One on the east bound lane and the other on the north frontage road.

That's quite the distance split between the 2, and the 2 ejected passengers, one from each vehicle.

    Dry roads. Good job idiots.

Accidents do occur in this country every day on dry pavement, typically with one party at fault and the other an unfortunate consequence. Yes, a fuckload of idiocy occurs on I70 on a regular basis, but it's a little overboard to flame victims of a crash without knowing details.

I'm not sorry, they are a bunch of fuctards. All of them for not paying attention. That shit does not happen without levels of fuck beyond normal thinking on both sides.

Mark it a zero. Over the line.

Looks about the point of merge for on ramp. Almost had an issue last week when TX plate was doing 30-40mph at that point with a group of wb traffic coming at same point and I had no where to go. Fortunately right lane of group made it to left lane but I had to sit behind this car for a bit til traffic cleared. TX was still only doing 50 at that point.

I do understand that this isn't Nam, and many don't follow/aren't even aware of the rules. Besmirching people ejected from cars without details of how they got around to being ejected from said cars ain't my thing, that's all. Carry on.

Two separate cars, both with ejections. One can certainly fault people for not wearing their fucking seatbelts.

If it was slow and smelled like burning oil, it might be me. You forgot the “Believe” sticker.

Ideally in such a scenario, the highway patrol is handing out "insufficient traction" tickets like chicklets...

its a wet and heavy one so not surprising. I don't drive vail pass all that often but i noticed last night people like to drive 90 going up it and when assholes around here don't really adjust their speed for conditions its no wonder this happens

    What's the point?

The highway shuts down every time you would need better traction.

I'll keep rollin on my bald tires. You can get another thousand miles running on the belts anyway.
