Pretty close to the bottom so guessing WB on the long sweeping right to start going uphill and either on the phone or didn’t negotiate it fully.
Having to pack up a truck a second time would just suck. But guessing he needs a smaller truck now, so that is a plus.

30+ years ago, I loaded all my stuff into my car and left Philly, started driving west, didn't know where I would land. I had a futon tied to the top of the car. Barely an hour in, my car was overheating, which had never happened. I was super stressed, pulled off the turnpike at a rest area to figure it out. The futon looked a lot like that mattress. I decided that the wind sail futon was probably the cause of the overheating, untied it and threw it in the dumpster, hoping that fixed the problem (because if it didn't, I had car problems AND had thrown away a perfectly good futon).

    Trashed futon FTW!

No, that was 20+ years ago and no futon was involved.

It was a Ford Escort wagon, piece of shit but insanely reliable.

    wtf
I have had huge huge problems with cars on I70 w ontario plates this past week or two not just one or two but a bunch
I thought the border was closed and trump built a wall and where the fuck is ontario isn't it on the other side of the country what are these HORRIBLE drivers doing in colorado in the left lane

does anyone know if they drive in the right lane like they do in europe in canada? it might expain some problems they are just not used to driving int he right direction like americans

where is ontairo someone help me and most of the cars have been beaters canadians can't buy nice things?

A lot to unpack there... Ontario is east of here and north of the US midwest (MN, WI, MI). And they are on average nicer than us, less armed, and therefore at least less likely to road rage shoot you. But not sure on driving tendencies beyond that. Toronto is big city expensive but the rest of rural ONT generally isn't, so those beater cars are likely not Toronto city folk. That's about all I got...
Since ask re Europe... First, actually the UK is the only part where they drive on the other side. And second, in Germany at least, you better stay out of the left lane or some mercedes v12 will be coming through your rear window
That exhausts my knowledge on all of the above

How wild is I-70 going to be this weekend? I'm entering a pre-bitch right now.

Seems like the entire Front Range is going to unleash and head Westbound. Vaxed & Waxed they say.

    Hope they stick to Eagle/Summit.

Ha. Don't underestimate the since of the horde. It'll be wall to wall Frangers as far as the eye can see. It has been a steady stream of boats and RVs into Grand Lake since yesterday. The grocery store is cleaned out.

When you get outta town on Thursday after work and bounce Sunday to beat traffic, that's just taking a day off, not a holiday weekend. But hey, at least in isn't forecast to snow. Time to get Mountainy AF (tm). I'm gonna work.

...I do get the logic of leaving early to beat the crowds, but you know I-70 will be gridlock on Sunday afternoon and Monday afternoon.

Yo, how can others get mountainy as fuck?
