I went for a ride yesterday, and finally figured out what you meant by flipping the semi.

When we got the call, the driver had just disconnected the cab from the trailer because the back of the trailer was on fire (from over-heated brakes). Iím thinking fire or CDOT rolled it on its side after it was out to open up the ramp.

Be nice if someone cleaned that shit up. It stinks when youíre sucking wind on the climb, and forces you off the bike path, and within feet of I-70 traffic.

    Nice but yeah, yikes!

Itís in all likelihood the man who went missing in April they never found. They found an overturned kayak his truck and his dog and eventually called the search off after like 5 days. Sad.

This weekend a Guy fell off a pontoon in lake Estes and disappeared. They found his body Saturday also after a search.

    Gee whiz!!

I know everybody already knows but Be careful on the water out there.

Had a solid 30/40 minute stoppage coming eastbound through the tunnel last night at 8. Thought they were metering but after finally getting into the tunnel I see that they are washing the fucking lights on a Sunday night and have traffic down to 1 lane. I would have thought they could have picked a better day for it but what do I know. At least the lights are nice and shiny now.

Yep. Thatís why I was saying the guy had a unique set of skills. They usually need the steeper pitch of g-town hill to flame-on by the 228 overpass.

Could CDOT be more stupid? Or are they just trolling all of us with that kind of shit?

    Holy fucking balls.
    https://www.9news.com/video/traffic/...a6?jwsource=cl

Article says the RV was unoccupied, then rolled into the semi. Guessing from the photo/ and 9news video it rolled back into oncoming traffic after the brakes burnt up. No E-brake?
Looks like the semi was unloaded and could have totally bonus-laned it around the incoming fireball.

I was able to take Lookout mtn road and avoided all these things (so far) today.
the drugs made me realize it's not about the drugs

Address my ignorance here is t WB in JEFFCO going uphill mostly? Thereís like two sections of downhill right? How you burn the brakes going uphill except driving with them somehow engaged?

The captain thought it a friendly gesture to attempt to nullify the odor of the Hacienda turd by lighting a match in the head.

Fire probably didn't start because of overheated brakes. However, after it was on fire, the brake lines burned through, causing the RV to roll backwards into the semi.

My guess a RV that migrated in from the great eastern plains, after sitting in hibernation with no maintenance for months. I'll give this win to Ullr as he is fucking bored in the summer.

At least the quarry will get a fresh rig out of this.

Hopefully RV insurance goes way up and makes people think twice about buying a gas guzzling piece of shit vehicle.
