VP was pretty clear at 9am, but I had dark clouds in my rearview the whole drive eastbound to Dillon. Got here and it started coming down. Pretty sure a few degree temp drop and increased snowfall was all it needed to turn into a skating rink.

If you get dinner everytime I-70 closes, you're going to get a lot of dinners.

Ha, I wish... I saw the forecast last night of 2-4" for VP and I bet her that I-70 closes before lunchtime.

285 had a 23 car pile up this morning. And that's well before the "I'll take 285 to avoid 70 home from Breckenridge" crowd fires up for the year.

Take I76 -> E470 next time. Anytime I'm headed to DIA between 6am - 10am I take that route. Sure it's a toll road, but it's worth the peace of mind if I'm catching a flight.
I used to hike 2 hours for 10 minutes of turns on 207 gs skis, without needing “skins” or “hike mode.” Tell me again how I’m a gaper.

Good call. I thought New Denver was a heady spot in BC but perhaps it is a system I need to learn in order to deal with the front range.

Side note: I've never seen such a bunch of self absorbed posers as in the terminal. Those are my customers. Yeah.

Guy calls it like he sees it, always makes me cring, but then again Foggy is always right

I think he's mostly pissed because every denver poser stole his look: clean well pressed carhart pants, puffy jacket, and beanie ten months out of the year

oh and traffic? lots of people have their training wheels on still, first storm of the season

Finally downloaded the app. The website interface gave me epilepsy when things changed over and I just gave up.

The #vanlife crew also ruined his ability to drive an AWD van.

    Guilty as charged.

On both accounts. I wear my FreeRide Systems work pants and bross jacket when I travel just so everyone knows how core I am.

The website looks the same as it ever did. There's a theme setting to make it look the old way.

Or get off I76 at 88th-104th (might be off by a number) and take down to Tower Rd. No toll and is fairly quick.

I admit, I agree with FG, but I also use my intelligence and do this almost every time unless it's in the middle of the night. I feel better about myself for some weird reason. And if you have never met FG, I don't think he's ever owned an iron for pressing clothes.
