Oh it says closed at Herman gulch on the website, chain law in effect over Hoosier now

Today's forecast was calling for 50-60 mph gusts at LL...looks like they hit a high so far of 50mph at 8:16.

Bitch all you want, but with 70 closed from Morrison on, LP closed and winds that shut down most lifts (downside of making Chets a HSQ rather than fixed like Pali) -- it doesn't make much sense to operate a ski area where you potentially need emergency medical services.

I don't disagree, but I've skied LL before on a 20"+ day with the highway closed and only chair 1 running and it was glorious.
And making 1 a HSQ is and always has been dumb.
