I did that once. Sure a second run through Windows sounds fun. Ah fuck. Of course the line was not as long and I got two runs but thatís a cluster fuck of a choke point.

Sorry to hear that. Maybe I didnít get to the sketchy section.
    Made it halfway to Kremmling.

I was suspicious when the googles showed that as the way to go. I figured I would face deep snow and drifts.

Road started out great. Plowed and easy going. Passed an 18 wheeler. Thought it very odd and stupid. Soon the fun began. Plowed road ended, but good tracks to follow. Passed a car that got stuck and abandoned. Then passed a semi stuck, then a delivery truck, then another semi. All stuck. We reached a section with a guardrail and steep drop and another semi stuck sideways completely blocking the road. Driver was sitting in a minivan just chilling like this was totally normal. WTF were these truckers thinking?!?!

Turned around and flagged everyone coming by to turn around. Came to the semi we passed in the plowed section and told him he was fucked. There was no way he could turn around and he wasnít going through. He had chains and thought he was invincible. He thought he could help get the other truck unstuck by loaning his chains. Told him that wasnít going to happen as the truck was sideways. Oh well.......

Turned out for the best as as I scored a cancelled room in Steamboat and got $100 knocked off the rate.

She was an amazing very young woman. The driver was ejected and she was scrambled eggs until she hit the bottom. I miss Crysta a lot.

Lost another good bud this week. I tried to give him some advil last week because he had kicked the painkillers from his recovery, but he refused, and couldn't deal with his pain so he shot himself. Come to the memorial tomorrow. I will miss Eric a lot. It gets old. I have a wall of shame on my wall of dead friends. I want it to end. I made up some stickers tonight, just out of pure frustration from the massive suicide problem. Don't kill yourself, OK? Wait for tomorrow.

Sorry makers. Crysta’s story is hidden behind a pay/survey wall FYI.

Data point: my friends left Broomfield at 530am Saturday and left the ski area at 5pm Sunday with there IKON passes. They made lessons on time, were car>lift and vice versa in <15min., never waited in a lift line more that 10min., and had the best skiing weekend of there lives.

There is hope! It can be done!
