    Holy fucking balls.
    https://www.9news.com/video/traffic/...a6?jwsource=cl

Article says the RV was unoccupied, then rolled into the semi. Guessing from the photo/ and 9news video it rolled back into oncoming traffic after the brakes burnt up. No E-brake?
Looks like the semi was unloaded and could have totally bonus-laned it around the incoming fireball.

I was able to take Lookout mtn road and avoided all these things (so far) today.
the drugs made me realize it's not about the drugs

Imagine the shock coming back to your flaming RV (assume they went somewhere to get help) and it’s caused a shitshow like that.

Address my ignorance here is t WB in JEFFCO going uphill mostly? There’s like two sections of downhill right? How you burn the brakes going uphill except driving with them somehow engaged?

The captain thought it a friendly gesture to attempt to nullify the odor of the Hacienda turd by lighting a match in the head.

Fire probably didn't start because of overheated brakes. However, after it was on fire, the brake lines burned through, causing the RV to roll backwards into the semi.

Watch they’ll find that PRNDL in “N.” Ida gone with “P” but that’s just me. Maybe that just can’t hold a big bus like that on its own.

My guess a RV that migrated in from the great eastern plains, after sitting in hibernation with no maintenance for months. I'll give this win to Ullr as he is fucking bored in the summer.

At least the quarry will get a fresh rig out of this.

I don’t think the adjuster is going to believe the story until he sees the video.

Hopefully RV insurance goes way up and makes people think twice about buying a gas guzzling piece of shit vehicle.

Yeah, the burnt semi from Thursday last week is still there at the Silver Plume on ramp. Lovely Rocky Mtn scenery!

Saw numerous burnt vehicles on the side of the road on those hills west of Green River, UT on I-70 while heading out to Cali earlier this week. The heat wave wasn't so kind.

Yep. Pretty standard. "By golly, look at the line of traffic going to Keystone in the summer. Wait a minute, nobody goes to Keystone in the summer! I bet there's something amiss on the interstate." [/Sherlock Holmes voice]

Smooth sailing today thankfully. No traffic at all early and cruised all the way to Telluride. Thanks I70 for the mercy.
