the correct move for Sundays at A-Basin (if you have to go east) is to bounce from A-Basin at around 2 and go to Loveland for power hour.

285 was closed for most of the afternoon and sounds like a lot of people coming from that direction ended up on 70. Sure that didn’t help things.

There was traffic going over Loveland at noon this weekend for whatever reason. Wondered if they were stopping people at the sisters or something.

ran into a left lane controller on my way back from denver last week
he was enjoying the power of slow fast slow fast no one pass
finally go to pass him on the right and he speeds up to 80 hoping to cut me off barely able to go 65 before that
I was in my truck so I laughed hitting 95

Saturday powder morning tomorrow. With it dumping at the tunnel, I guessing 3+ hours to Summit tomorrow easy.

Does 2-4" qualify as a powder day now? Sadly, the answer for this year is probably yes...

Saw 4 sets of them on my run yesterday. Not the worst.

Two were on full AT gear.

Do ya'll actually read the forecast or do you just look out your window in Brown Town, see snow, realize you have the day off and get all keyed up to channel your inner butt hurt?

I swear some people like complaining about skiing more than they like skiing.

Question for the Denver folk that isn’t directly I70 related. I have an overnight downtown tomorrow for a work deal. I have to take a customer to dinner afterwards. Are restaurants and bars open downtown currently?
