    OFFICIAL I70 BITCH THREAD....

Selfish tourons are the same everywhere. My 12 year old daughter wanted to see the Hollywood sign while we were in LA this weekend. We drove to Lake Hollywood park and the neighborhood was full of traffic on those narrow, winding Hollywood Hills roads. Right by the park, the streets were swarming with people walking in the middle of the road for a pic or doing u-turns and blocking traffic or crowding next to each other on a sandy ledge, just to get that perfect pic. There was also a half naked tatted up freak doing her own 20 minute photo shoot with a tripod of her and the sign. We truly live in the weirdest fucking time.

Traffic being traffic, complaining about traffic, is amusing.

Not complaining about traffic, specifically complaining about your transplanted immigrant moran ass that caused it:

Idiotic behavior feeds on itself. Once it reaches critical mass, it takes on a life of its own. Don't be surprised. Basic bitches love Disney World...and flying on Thanksgiving and ski areas on Saturday Powder Days in February...and pitching about it.

Can one of you snag a campsite at 18rd. for me on Friday? Do you think it will be busy?

Traffic sure gets mad when you call them traffic. Doesn't matter where you are from, if you are caught up in the mess, you are part of the problem, and ipso facto, making Colorado suck.

I am traffic drove 65 miles on monday and never left scummit
average anywhere from 30 to 70 miles depending on how shitty the day is

the crazy part is summit was empty on monday everyone went back to the front range and all the boomers are packing up and leaving for the "off season"
the shiny new faces in town is always funny to see

and did brett and betty trade in their hip downtown denver apartment for a track home in thornton? upgrade from a doodle to a newborn? dreaming of buying a shit box condo in the mountains when they turn 40 because that tech money is so easy?

Well yeah, but the vacuum left by the traveling Young Boomers, the Millennials settling down and Gen X'ers moving down valley and only skiing weekday just sucks in the Leaf Peppers and Social Media Superstars making the pilgrimage from whatever place they think sucks more than here.
    ,
Its just how it is. A was a the Rec Center is Fraser throwing weights around with the old people just holding on to whatever radness we think we used to have and it really hit me. This place is just turning into Olde Towne Aravada with a view. More or less zero beaters in the parking lot, everybody just dressed with newish everything, the kids just looking at their phones being brats.

My teacher friends and those with kids in Fraser Elementary confim. The Covid Refugees kinda got weeded out but some grew roots and think they run the place. "This place it great, but I wish their were more of me. All these broke bitches have jobs and cant go to Pilates at 10am." I think they go to the city on the weekends for the amenities, I mean, the Acai Bowl scene around here is beyond weak.

I love the article saying “Swan mtn road is a priority!” From the same people that canceled the funding for it last year like no one remembers that shit. Especially with the dam road closed now. Great timing.

    Re: we are traffic

I read an article about a Idaho Springs Townie bitching about Guanella Pass peeper traffic. She was trying to make a day trip to Royal Gorge. That's never the fastest way. I got $50 she wanted to see the leaves along the way.

I bet a couple hundred parking tickets would send a message but I guess that's not how we do things.

I have a spot on the D loop reserved for this Wednesday through Sunday and I'm happy to share with you. Just let me know.

But it will be busy AF. Colorado HS MTB races this weekend at 18 road. And so HOT. Doesn't seem like your gig, but I'm happy to offer you some dirt for your tent or van, a well made campfire and an evening beer.

I do appreciate the offer and I'll try to less of a dick, but FTS. It was a joke.

I'll be close by flying paragliders, avoiding people. Lucky for me the desert is a big place. I take the busyness as a queue to explorer new places.

Whats with all these fests on public land? Last weekend was Dick Free Jamboree and now this? It seems like it would make more sense to promote not peak locations at not peak times. This is like having a Taylor Swift Concern at Vail during the holidays.

Weekends if I am in town I hunker down and dont go far if I dont have to. Luckily theres lots of unpopular things to do around my house. I have leaves in my yard do I dont need to go leaf peepin. Haha.

Sounds kinda like how a ton of covid front rangers joined team summit and team breck and are an absolutely pain in the ass for the staff. Their kids usually suck at skiing compared to the local kids but they run their friggin mouth. Entitled rich bois.

    OFFICIAL I70 BITCH THREAD....

I just got an $80 ticket mailed to me that showed on August 27th, I parked in a lot without paying and it has a picture of my car entering the lot at one time and another picture of it leaving a half an hour later. JFC what is this big brother surveillance shit?

That day, I stopped at a coffee shop in Evergreen after a mtn bike ride, I parked in the lot next to it because there’s no parking anywhere else, and saw there was a sign that said 15 mins free so I didn’t bother to enter my CC and license plate info into the self pay and just ran in to get the coffee. I was out in 10 mins but I must have just sat in the car doing work emails, not thinking I was being monitored, then drove out (apparently 30 mins or so after I got there). A) fuck this shit B) is there any way to fight this?

Who is the ticket from? Who owns the lot? If it wasn't a gov ticket or a gov owned lot, then they can fuck off, just ignore them, but don't park on their turf again or they'll boot you.
