Those trenches in the eastbound right lane, between Loveland and Bakerville, are getting dangerous. Those ruts are deep!

ETA: Wind is pushing the little remaining smoke across all lanes. Can’t tell if it made it into the scenic overlook lot, but eb will re-open sooner if it did. All lanes being held in both directions currently.

It opened for a minute but closed again. State patrol just told us they thought they could get away with opening 1 lane but need both. He said we will be holding “for awhile”.

I started for the near 3 hour tour of kremlng/berthoud, but navigation told me to turn around as soon as I got to lake dillon. Easy-peasy drive home in about 50 min. Could have been worse, thanks cdot.
