It’s 10:00am and the traffic time from Denver to Loveland is 2 hours plus...guess it’s sledding and drinking vs skiing with the kids this afternoon.

No time is safe from the 70 Monster.
You should have been here yesterday!

Yeah it’s “force kids into winter” today and they aren’t ready for the BC.

Whiskey fueled sled laps have commenced.

I’d like to thank EVERYONE for coming to breck this weekend. Just when you thought last weekend was boss, this weekend is even more bad ass, snow sculpture gapers are a whole different breed, compared to the typical dad warrior and bro brah weekend crowd. Because behind every gaper Is the backdrop to one of the countries most amazing playgrounds. I’ll suffur for you.

I70 WB looked like the 7th circle of hell today... at 1:00pm. Pretty solid from Floyd Hill to the tunnel. W.T.F. Those folks should have gone sledding with PowTron.

That’s what I don’t get. There’s so much else to do in Colorado. Why put yourself through that at 1pm?

Was downtown, can confirm that Denver was a ghost town yesterday.

I70 is red/maroon from Copper to Georgetown and 40 is backed up from the merge with 70 almost to the Mary Jane parking lot.

    Fucking epic

Or Ikonic. Someone needs to find the switch for the traffic light in Empire and bash it to pieces. Cycling of that light was a big factor in the slow drive out of WP/MJ today. Of course people hanging out in the left lane on the way up to the summit of the pass did not help either.

Sounds like Winter Park is more busy this year? I’ve never seen a backup make it down to MJ. That’s ridiculous.

What do you expect when there's whiteout conditions and the highway is covered in 6" of slushy snow? People are sliding out all over the place and there are dozens of accidents. Of course the traffic is going to be brutal.

Oh wait, it's sunny and dry and the roads are fine. Carry on.

Seems like everywhere is busier this year. Not sure if it's pent up demand from a couple of subpar seasons or if it really is just more cars being driven by Tanner/Amber who live in West Wash Park or maybe Uptown and work at some generic, nondescript social media marketing company in Lodo that is cool because it has beer on tap and a ping pong table

    ouch

pretty much it's snowy and cold on the front range so peoples subconscious tells them to goto the mountains and ski because that is what they moved here for
WP is a mess cause everyone thought they had the orginal idea to not buy an epic pass and goto WP, because no one goes to winter park

the sheer volume of people in the mountains this weekend was numbing
