Pick up an instrument, any instrument, but preferably one you've never played before and set up shop in the subway. Tell your girl to meet you there about an hour after you started entertaining.
Get shitcanned with her riding the Staten Island Ferry back and forth.I still call it The Jake.

Huh - in my area "shitcanned" means fired and "shitfaced" means drunk.
Edit: Urban Dictionary does have one entry where it means getting "absorbently drunk," which sounds quite visceral.

Too bad La Maison de Sade closed, but you can always find a place that serves body sushi. Not sure why you'd want to, but you can.

Go for a run through central park at night.
Shit every other fun thing I did in NY I was shit faced for and can't remember any names. There was this one bar that we went up stairs and they gave us robes to put on while we hung out looking at the city and drinking.
Best tip I have is travel on a corporate expense account or find a vendor of yours to pay for everything while you are there. Also, do some research on places to eat. There are some amazing restaurants that are off the radar. Everything is expensive in NYC but you can get an incredible meal for 20-30 a plate. Not cheap but a good "value".

I think Giuliani got rid of most of the cool weird things.
Place got cleaned upped real fast under his watch,
42nd street basically turned into Disneyland.
I just go to the museums when I go back.
Museum of Natural History is always worth a stop.

Get ML242 to take you on a drunken bike tour of his favorite bars in Brooklyn and Queens.

The setting is in an old 4 story hotel. You show up and the door man hands you a playing card and sends you to the 1920's themed bar, serving absinthe and spirits. The bar is full of actors and actresses in full character as well as a band with a super sexy jazz singer. The host about every 5-10 minutes calls out a playing card " ace of diamonds, If you have an ace of diamond follow me to the back room" at this point you are most likely separated from your group (everyone gets a different card). In the back room you are given a white mask and told to never ever speak to anyone during the show. Then they release you into this hotel.
In the hotel there is a Modern/1920's spin on Macbeth acted out. The play does not stop and as scenes complete they just roll into another scene and the people from the last scene may be in the new scene or they may have wondered off and started there own little scene. So this hotel is filled with either the main story line (moving around the hotel) or a shit ton of side scenes. The actors completely ignore the dozens of people standing right in the middle of the scene watching with their masks on.
Its impossible to completely explain and so very fun.

WALK THROUGH HARLEM IN YOUR GRAND WIZARD SUIT.
Hey d-bag - here's something for you to think about: maybe (just maybe) not everybody here has their little panties in a wad 24/7 and flies into a rage whenever somebody disagrees with them. Maybe these same mags don't take this place uber-seriously. Maybe this even includes the vast majority of the people who post here as opposed to you and like 20 other thin-skinned douchebags. Just something to think about. -JER
