After 5 years of using an 8 and 10wt exclusively, my 5wt feels like a toy.

congrats on your purchase. I too am looking into a 12 for use starting this fall. I have absolutely beaten my riptide over the past 4 years, so I am fairly certain I will just up it one notch to the gulfstream and match it to an appropriate sage stick.
