What ski town has the best ratio of women to men??
It is a pretty common joke around these forums that most mountain towns are in short supply of females.
Unless you are married or a female, this is a problem with living in a ski town.
I know some of you might say that it doesn't matter as long as your game is good enough, but I still think it is nice to live in a place with a roughly equal amount of men and women.
So, what ski towns have the best ratio of women to men?
I haven't skied much outside of Colorado, but I would say that Aspen is most likely the best in Colorado.

An unbalanced ratio has some very interesting social dynamics to it. I have had experience living in places such as Jackson, Telluride, Alta, and Steamboat. I now live in Flagstaff, which even though for many forum posters on TGR find this hard to believe Flag is a mountain town, I don't know if I would call it a ski town but mountain/college for sure.
Flagstaff is about as balanced as I have ever experienced, in fact it's either equal or possibly there are more woman. It's hard to say.
I don't like the unbalanced ratio, it really does effect the quality of life and I'm not talking about being single and trying to get lucky. I'm referring to the way we behave. I don't think it's good for males and even though initially for an attention starved and somewhat insecure female it may seem great at first I think it has negative effects for females as well at least for the long term.
As far as getting some or finding a steady girlfriend, I fucking love not being in a 9 to 1 mountain town! I love skiing but there are things I like and need more.

Yeah don't think most people are thinking along the lines of Flaggstaff, more like the stereotypical ski town. Not that I disagree on Flagstaff having some decent talent for girls.
Overall though, I have seen that the guys who seem to have trouble finding chicks would be the same guys having trouble finding chicks anywhere. Ski towns are filled with me first people, and me first people usually have trouble getting girls.Live Free or Die

North conway nh is or was one of the few or only ones where women outnumber men. Lots of fit women at that.
I forget which ski mag reported the ratio.

Sposed to be tough up here for the women especaily if they are say educated with a nice full time job coming from the south, I often ask my young women buds about the boy situ and they always say there aren't any
It would appear the men are often highly mobile more interested in skiing/ fishing/hunting/in camp than a permanent relationship and are therefore highly elusive

An artical about the problem up here, i love Amanda's closing comment ^^
“Catching a man in the North is probably a lot like steelhead fishing. It’s not easy, takes special gear, takes a lot of patience, takes a LONG time to reel them in, and at the end of the day, most likely all you’re left with is a good story.”Lee Lau - xxx-er is the laziest Asian canuck I know
