The transformation is complete. I find it takes 3-4 years to give up on sled skiing and just focus on your motorized snowboard.

forgottten the resorts should be ...

stuck sled digging, somedays, thats all you will be doing ...

if your gunna buy a sled, do yourself a favour and get something you can have fun on. even older machines will put a smile on your face. don't say its just for axcess for ski touring. you'll get a thousand more face shots in a day on a sled. that and you need to learn to ride it coz one day your gunna find yourself in a pickle and need to pull off some crazy moves to get out.

Thank you everyone for your kind words, it truly means a lot.

As a girl embarking on a journey with this sport I was constantly told I couldn't come because I was a girl and would just slow the guys down, or that nobody wanted to watch girls sled because it was boring. If there is anything to take away from this, it is that if you truly love what you do, you don't take no for an answer and you will find a way to pursue what makes you happy.

You have to do it because you love it. I still film the majority of my footage with a tripod where I hit record and then rip up and hit jumps or cliffs, I want to share my love of this sport with other people (especially other girls, in hopes that they too many pursue something they thought was out of reach). I love taking people out sledding here in Whistler, I love seeing them fall in love with being way out there in the mountains, it makes you feel so small it's such a humbling experience.

I put off editing this forever, because honestly... I wasn't sure if anyone would even want to watch it after everything I was constantly told.

Thank you, hoping it gets more people out there trying something new.

I hear ya with the filming yourself part. I have the hardest time trying to find willing buddies to ski or sled with! But my self filming usually gets put aside or just does not turn out well...
