Karl... Board's right... You should come out and make some turns with us/get your swerves on with us! <lame attempt at invoking sympathy>I was SO disappointed that I didn't get to ski with ya at the Canada Summit, but my legs all better now....</sympathy attempt>

Can I park my van in the yard? I don’t need cement blocks or anything.

    So what’s the parking situation?

It’s so quiet, it’s so cool, it’s so cold

Parking is available on the street. I'm not downtown to the point that there are meters or anything. There's plenty o' parking along the block.

I dunno if I can hang with frozen. A luge would be very cool. Haven't hit the luge in a few years.

Wish I could come! Next weekend is my last weekend of work in Boulder and my boss put me on Fri/Sat/Sun so he could get the most out of me before I go.

    Heavyweight boxing? Sounds cool.

On the attendee list, I'm guessing duph will come along. I'm also bringing a girlfriend of mine - the one that went to Green Mountain Valley race academy. She's single and doesn't know enough ripping skiers. Please don't ask for naked pics.

I wanted to bring some other Loveland patrol people, but it's all hands on deck with the OEC testing on Sunday. I managed to get permission to come in at 11:00, so I've got a chance of surviving the day.

About skiing on Saturday - do you guys want to meet in the lodge? What time? Hopefully not at the buttcrack of dawn. I wouldn't even mind starting as late as noonish so I can get my beauty sleep. There's not a whole lot of terrain.

The lack of snow to open terrain is getting me slightly depressed. But still a day on snow is better than a day at home. Unless.........nevermind. Shera, you make the call for the time, you are the one with the tickets. Don't forget it is saturday, we will have to deal with crap traffic back to denver. and what is OEC??

Ok, I guess I'll hang out in the lodge and eat breakfast and hand out comps until the meeting time and then head over to chair one. Look for the blonde chick with the navy TGR hoodie.

When are you guys wanting to start skiing? And when are you wanting to take off for MD's?

OEC = Outdoor Emergency Care. It's the first aid course that patrollers take.

ugh, if it is anything like today, most likely a half day will do. Maybe the others that are coming to ski can chime in. I wouldnt say too early that you would need to be there during breakfast, unless 10-11 is breakfast to you. MD9's is supposed to go off around 7, so he says. But i want a shower and maybe a nap before partying/punching my liver.

also anyone rolling from denver that wants to carpool. shoot me a PM.

Ok, here's my comp list so far:

    -funken
    -Crinkle
    -Ireallylike toski
    -Powderfarmer

Anybody else? I didn't miss anybody, did I?

I guess I'll show up at the lodge around 10:30. Swing by there to get your comps - they have to be traded for a lift ticket at the clock tower. Then meet up at chair 1 at 11:00 - 11:15?

If the sun is out and warms up the snow, we should have some fun. Otherwise, bring your east coast gear.
