What is the heel distances without the base plate, if one would mount without it?

    30x30.

Mounting the 14 without the plate would kinda defeat it's purpose imo, the heel block is pretty important to its performance I believe.

I'll be making my own template for the 14's once I have my boots in place. I can adjust that to any size boot easily if anyone are interested. Guess you'll have to measure your own pin - to - heel length and boot center mark, but once I have those, the rest is easy.

    ATK raider 14 DIN binding

FWIW, I run mine without the heel block (but still the heel plate). At about 175 w/o gear, haven't had any problems, even after some pretty big 4pt stomps (30-40') - which would stress the heel pins really good I'd think. That said, if someone gave me an aftermarket heel block, I'd use it - no harm in doing so.

Does anyone have the dimensions for the mount pattern on the Raider 12 model? The 60 mm heel for the 14s is too wide for my Volkl BMTs.

Raider 12 is 30x27 toe and should be 25x86 heel (same as the race binding adjustment plate)

Also, if you don't care about the stomp block you can put the 14 on their adjustment plate and it will work fine

    ATK Raider 12 mount template

Thanks for the responses timmaio and linkan110. I followed the pdf trail on the ATK site and found the mount template:

    http://www.atkrace.it/wp-content/upl.../03/RAIDER.pdf.

There's a taper for the 2 sets of heel screws (30 mm and 25 mm).

    Overall very promising looking imo.
What is the height (range) of the heel block? Thinking of adding this to my speed radical (w. shimmed toe) and am wondering if this one could fit. However the website ( http://www.atkrace.it/collezione-pro...-al07/?lang=en) lists no dims. I know you can adjust them, but what is the range?
I would mount without the adjustment plate, obviously, and drill it into the ski.

Came across this pic, apparently next years raider. Appears to have a "radical" style heel riser and some sort of elastic system in the heel (like IONs?). unfortunately gets a touch heavier.

would love to see those heel risers on something like the RT bindings, super light but with two riser positions

I'm guessing you're referring to these. They dont look the same to me. The AL04 heel riser only appears to have flat and one higher mode. Next years raiders appear to have two risers

Ah, you're right. Slightly different. You still have 2 heel risers, just have to turn it to access one of them, instead of both being flippers like the Raiders.

Its around 9 or 10mm if I remember right. That was the older version though. Not sure if the new one is different.
