    SWIFT to integrate R3’s technology

SWIFT, a messaging network that financial institutions use primarily to facilitate international money transfers, will integrate R3 technology as first reported by CoinDesk. Speaking at the Paris Fintech Forum today, Gottfried Leibbrandt, CEO of SWIFT said that the details of the integration will be announced later today.

R3, the distributed ledger technology provider, announced the launch of Corda Settler in early December, an application that facilitates global cryptocurrency payments on enterprise blockchains. Corda Settler initially supports XRP.

Not your keys, not your Bitcoin. In this day and age after mt gox and others, you have to be an imbecile to keep any significant cheddar on an exchange.

So much good shit happening on EOS. PixEOS is fire. Platform has been live since only Satruday and the center pixel is going for over 6,000 EOS (about 13,000 USD). And fuck it's so much fun. I can't stop.

Wells Fargo down! Long Bitcoin. Short the bankers.

    https://piunikaweb.com/2019/02/07/we...nking-suffers/

Looks like there’s a major Wells Fargo outage. As per reports, neither the website nor app is working at the moment. Even text banking is down and cards can’t be used as well.

Users are taking to social media to share the ongoing problems and issues as well as vent their frustration. Here are some reports.....

Bitcoin costs more to mine than the coins are worth... except in areas with special power purchase agreements at low costs.

Thanks for posting a two month old article. Guess what? When miners turn off their machines the mining difficulty automatically adjusts. And look what happened since your article!

See the current Bitcoin mining profitability. Even though the mining difficulty automatically adjusts to ensure 600 second block times, that adjustment doesn't make it actually any more or less profitable to mine.

In fact, according to the current price today (with said 'bull run'), it is still impossible to mine and make a profit unless the electricity costs less than 5.8 cents per kilowatt hour and the latest-and-greatest most efficient equipment is used.

Perhaps you can explain why the mining difficulty is related to Summit's comment that it costs more to mine than the coins are worth.
It's a free market mang. Anyone that doesn't want to "lose money" is free to turn off their asics whenever they want. Obviously quite a few people still think it's worth it.

I've been missing the crypto lulz for a while. I guess my being away had a bad effect on some shady exchanges.

As per the facts, it might be shown that the exchange never even had cold wallets to start with. Someone has started a new reddit because the original one was censoring key information. RIP.

One Year After Dimon Slammed Bitcoin As A "Fraud", JPM Launches Own Cryptocurrency

It seems like just yesterday that JP Morgan CEO Jamie Dimon bashed bitcoin as "a fraud" and warned it "won't end well" for investors (though he failed to mention that the bank had been buying bitcoin-linked ETNs traded on a Scandinavian exchange). But in a sign that banks are still seriously exploring applications for blockchain technology despite the blowup in the prices of crypto tokens, JPM announced that it would be rolling out the first cryptocurrency launched by a US bank, according to CNBC.

Your utter lack of precision makes correcting your misapprehensions over crypto and bitcoin a waste of time. This shit isn’t even all that nuanced.

Elon Musk calls BTC "brilliant." Samsung Galaxy S10 includes crypto private key storage. Fundamentals continue to improve.

BTC still not zero. Puregravity is still pouty.

P.S. Feeling pretty good about backing up the truck to buy EOS under 2 bucks in December. Up over 100% since and 32% over last seven days.

Jesus christ, that would be a 300x return in the span of a couple years. There is zero chance of that happening.

Plus you need to increase your window of of observation beyond a year, Mr. Cherry Picker. BTC is doing amazingly well since it was $500 and you told us it was going to zero.
