Honest question, why would you buy Bitcoin when you can mine it yourself?

No I just have no interest in mining BTC while living on the road. Makes perfect sense to me, I don't want to lay out 10's or 100's of thousands of dollars to set up a solid wharehouse. Why are you assuming? Weird.
In other news, BTC is the new gold, and will be 100-400 thousand dollars per in 5/10 years. And it just dropped 20/30 grand. So buy some.

Hats off to Shera. Her pet Chainlink coin has been slaying through this otherwise redonculous drop.
Anyone buying any alt coin things right now? Or is it just shovel the ETH and BTC onto the pile while they're down? However many are in a shit ton.

^ my moves are made for a while. I'm driving around skiing till may. If BTC hella cratered I'd buy another at 20/30k.
Matic is doing well. Should be an interesting 22. Let's go!

Yeah, dunno about uniswap. In 2020 CEL had a big runup and I decided to take some profits off the table, maybe $1200. It cost me about $100 in dex fees and $100 in gas fees and the user experience was meh. Maybe it wasn't uniswap, is liquid also a dex? I can't even remember.
A Russian guy in telegram the other day told me about an exchange called CoinEx, no kyc and no vpn, so I checked it out. I exercised deposit, withdrawal, limit buy and limit sell. There are stupid bots running on the order book but I got filled. The withdrawal fee for cel is 28 cel (~$60), not really great. Anyway, I am out at breakeven now, once my btc withdrawal transaction completes. BTC withdrawal fee is .00001, about $5.
I learned my lessons about liquidity and fees years ago. And even if CEL does a 10x, it's not worth the hassle I guess. So annoying. But, you can't make all the money, amiright? And my time is also precious. I do have a small cel stash at Celsius and use it to pay loan interest.
So I'm buying LINK again. Gah I love that project more every single day. Starting to listen to more podcasts and youtubes about the internals. Would be so cool to do a hackathon.
BTW I am obv not recommending CoinEx or anything else! nfa
