Thread: Bitcoin....who's gotten into it?

I put 30k in at 53, so Im obviously down now on that.
I'm convicted enough and can afford another 20k buy now though.
I look at it as a 10 year play, in which time BTC becomes the world standard layer one digital asset. Flipping Golds 10T market.
I'm willing to be wrong. I don't think I will be.

So, Guys and Gals...
A bit torn here.
What are your vibes of/about that Saylor dude?
What kind of V´s does he send for you? Legit?
Like, if he would be the new one for your ex-wife, or....say...daughter/son?

From the interview I gather that MSTR had reached an inflection point where it was change direction or die so Saylor went all in on BTC. He’s not the first CEO that chose to change direction. He probably cashed in enough already.

Mstr was a pretty dogshit tech company before. The BTC strategy was an improvement over their previous company

Saylor is a hype man. He was during the dotcom era, and he is now.
Northman is the most consistently wrong “famous” trader I have ever come across.

Nice. I'm thinking a weekly dca depending on movement from here. 30/35 seems like support. Absolute buy here or lower.

Eth is fantastic to pick up as well. More approachable price.
I'm currently also picking up Sol, algo, matic.
Was big on Ada, but now think the other above projects have more promise.
Picked up some hbar yesterday just in case that's a huge deal. .20$ a piece.

Is this the cycle where we see if market fundamentals can overpower the crypto hype machine’s volume knob?

I put in some sell orders above 40k. Unlikely I suppose, but you never know.
I also did my weekly link/btc market buy yesterday. Can't stop, won't stop. Please don't let it be my albatross.Live each season as it passes; breathe the air, drink the drink, taste the fruit, and resign yourself to the influences of each.

Hot take
But as the great crypto market crash of the last three months has begun to unfold, it’s started to look like something much more mundane: a crappy tech stock.
…
Instead of a currency, or an inflation hedge, Bitcoin seems to be acting like something else: a tech stock. Over time, its performance has become increasingly correlated with the NASDAQ index. (Its correlation with gold is practically nil.)
