Woah. If true that is quite the vulnerability... how do you plug that? Is that legal?

Its legal (yay unregulated market!), its just a known exploit/arbitrage flaw for UST.

Actually I am wondering about miner capitulation - a lot of big outfits must be in revenue losses plus hodl losses plus debt for buildout right now. Who will buckle and sell coins, and when?

I have thanks for posting that link. Very interesting.

I guess I should add that section seems to presuppose taking down the network and returning everyone's money.

Thirdly, I don't have stalefish's patience, or time really, for the level of "debate" in this thread.

some would say it’s just a structural flaw of algo stablecoins (as was argued on a podcast linked earlier)

So line go up = natural demand. Line go down = coordinated attack by bad actors?

2 yrs ago they had 500M cash on hand, they now have 3/4B BTC on hand.

Sure if BTC goes to 2000$ they have a problem, so does everyone else.

I'm stoked BTC is cratering, gives me another opportunity to buy low.

It's always so nice when Byates is a condescending cunt. Which is just about every day especially when he should be humble. Just a lonely guy living in his van living the dream. What parking lot are you camped in right now Bob?

Living a dream here. Seems like having a road cat would be a good fit. Train it to do it's dirty business outside. You might be more of a ferret guy though. Hairless rat? Tarantula?
