I think most likely scenario for many is buy the rumor sell the news as that's how most things play out. ETH futures were in backwardation a few days ago which some have been suggesting is a hedge in case the merge gets botched. I bought a couple more ETH over the last few months that I plan to hold for a long time regardless of short and midterm price action. Narrative that seems to be, not surprisingly, shaping up is that it's going to be BTC and ETH, and then everything else fighting for scraps.

Yep. Took a flyer on some loopring, if the merge is big for eth even temporarily, could be a quick move up for LRC.

Have some USD waiting to see about this leg down ppl are talking about.

Holding BTC Eth and a few other projects long term obviously.

    FIFY.

Too bad btc pump and dumpers here have no sense of irony. Funny shit they're posting.

Cool. Let's recap! BTC still not dead, Blackrock got into the game, and you guys keep repeating yourselves

All I know about ETH is that I won't be mining it this winter.

The ETH mining algorithm is called Dagger Hashimoto and works best on Nvidia GPUs. My cards are from AMD but they would still make the most money on ETH. Last year was especially good. I ultimately sold all ETH for BTC.

Next year I might be going back to the Cryptonight algo, especially a variation called Cryptonight Heavy. Haven coin was an example of that, not sure if they changed it.

I will probably mine through a clearinghouse called Nicehash where I will sell my hashes for bitcoin. I like bitcoin > alts.

Thx for all the concern everyone. This isn't the real estate thread. I've got a couple of those too.

This year is 4 months off. A month w mom who is getting older, and 3 months split between Taos, beaver, pine creek and Indy pass.

I guess the response is ‘avoid these crypto companies and only hold Bitcoin directly’? How’s that work at 7 transactions a second?

Who benefits from HUSD getting taken out? Can you short it? I suspect there are raiders out there try to figure out who is most vulnerable.
