For Danno. You probably need to watch the one before and after to get the most fullest story:

Is it radix panax notoginseng? - splat
This is like hanging yourself but the rope breaks. - DTM
Dude Listen to mtm. He's a marriage counselor at burning man. - subtle plague

Look people, it's an easy game to play, and and easy play to game. I just made that up, but I think it's quotable.

No one should be surprised at any of this. If you are, then you don't have any right to be in the space.

This pisses me off. I was into the world sports exchange, one of the first sports books set up offshore. My trading firm founded it with a guy I clerked for. They paid their bills, revolutionized sports betting with the sports future, and the US Govt got a hard on for them and the dude went to jail. At his sentencing he reminded everyone they were selling lottery tickets in the courthouse gift store.

Yrs later the other co founder shot him self and the guy who took the job I could have had just got amnesty after living abroaad for 20 yrs.

But crypto, he’ll no. Just donate money and Hire celebs At least sports gambling is based on something real.

It's crazy to think a monetary system created to benefit criminal activity would end up stealing people's money.

Pretty much. I find it entertaining. There are some pretty fun YouTubes about meme stocks, tradfin, fraud and such regarding FTX.

Beats the hell out of political and pandemic bullshit spewing in the background when I clean house. When does the movie come out? You'd think we'd be engineering better schemes but it appears the Personal Brand is getting in the way.

Speaking of entertaining, Sequoia Capital took down this SBF fellation from their site: https://web.archive.org/web/20221109...ied-spotlight/

FTX did need money, after all. And it needed that money from credible sources so it could continue to distinguish itself from the bottom-feeders who came to crypto to fleece the suckers. So, in the summer of 2021, when FTX started to raise its Series B from a who’s who of Silicon Valley VCs, Bailhe and Lin hit the “Don’t Panic” button.

Is the end of the movie written yet? Is it happily ever after on a beach, dead from the Russian's or pound me in the ass prison?

Remember when the internet used to be fun? Play along with me please.

Just checked the original thread that was quoted and it looks like the missing funds were sent to a different wallet, but accounted for. Timing for possible proof of reserve was off by three days.

So it looks like a run of the mill accidentally send $400M and kindly ask for it back. No harm no foul.

I see Mr Wonderful says this is good for Crypto because it will force regulation. Would regulations have stopped SBF from moving money to Alameda to cover their trading loses?

The movie will be like the Fyre Festival one except with nerds instead of instagram models.

Hopefully Ja Rule is still in it somehow.

uh, yes, regulation could have stopped or just reduced the flood of retail bag holders who’s money was transferred from being able to hold accounts. Madoff scammed MLB team owners, SBF scammed MLB fans by advertising his fraud on umpires

When you splash as much cash into politics as SBF did, people are going to start digging into your shit. There were already stories popping up.

It was well known that SBF's talk was directly contradicted by his actions on stuff like regulation, transparency, fiduciary duties, altruism, etc.. He was known to have a pair disgraced attorneys helping him run the show and create a maze of entities. There were stories from customers who said his crew would lock up accounts if that's what it took to front run a crucial in-house trade. More than a few people noted that SBF was really evasive when his origin story turned to questions about who was staking his early success.

Weak crypto market is good for economy. It cuts wealth in key spending demographic.

Bermuda.. Wall Street doesn’t care. Same as Alibaba. If the mooches will buy it all good. No chance of any asset recovery.
