Clearly, Hockey is the Best Game.

It's obvious. I don't even need to expound or explain, it's just clear.

I'm just saying, after a lifetime of watching a way shit ton too much of every sport that's ever been on TV, hockey is the best game to watch by far. Good games, at least.

Another hockey fan I see. I used to think NCAA basketball was the best to watch, but that has gotten worse and hockey continues to get better.

    baseball's in it's own category

One of the best things about hockey is how the announcers' voices go up when a play is developing. Works well with internetting.

Where is MLL Lacrosse in there? That's a fun game to watch. A bunch of hugely-skilled, completely-out-of-shape bankers, and Paul Rabil. Tons of talent in that league, fun to watch imo.

yes. But just to be clear..mite hockey IS NOT hockey. It's babysitting on ice...the real deal starts at squirts.

I have 37 little fuckers to babysit out there and they are slowly killing me. All my assistant coaches were ready to quit after the first week....shit is painful.

So how do you feel about the Swedes and Finns this year?

I bet Russia is going to go apeshit in the Olympics this year, hockeywise. Home team, their stars are playing very well - especially Ovechkin, who is on fire and hungry for a gold, Varly is playing well. Hockey is probably going to be the best competition of Sochi.

Sweden has a bunch of Red Wings, so are obviously favored. But damn if the Russians show up it could get interesting. Decent d, Varlamov in nets, and excuse me Datsyuk, Ovechkin and Malkin forwards??!!

Hockey is awesome. Why, sometimes they even play hockey during hockey games!

Lain represented my alma mater well in the above fight, not bad for a first NHL tussle. I wonder what he was thinking...."My first NHL game, and it's going to start with a line brawl. Huh."

Anyways, yeah, hockey is obviously the best sport, to play and watch. I miss hockey culture. SLC doesn't have much of it.

And Russia is goig to be a very interesting team in the Olympics. If they can develop some chemistry, look out.

Hockey is awesome but watching hockey on tv has been difficult until the last decade or so. That failed experiment of the puck trail just to help follow it? Seriously, I don't know how anyone could care about watching it on television before HD broadcast became the norm. Sure, I would play it and go see it, but I personally couldn't enjoy following the game with rabbit ears, snow and 720 scan lines.

Not even close. Great on tv and better live. No better sport to watch live. (Women's hockey isn't so hot IMO)
