That was great. Best MTB video I've seen in a long time.
Really really hate the intro sequences to these, although I know/ride/race w/ many of these guys, but the From Where we Stand series isn't bad. In particular the 2nd episode in NY. Third one at Mt Penn in Reading, PA has some really fun trails, which I don't think they showcased enough of. The 4th was too much talking and while White Clay is a blast to ride, isn't particularly photogenic.
Best of that series IMO:

My main riding bud these days sent me a link to that today, said he took that guy out on his first mountain bike ride ever, seems he took to it!
Opps, that one he sent of his old stomping grounds, here is the vid of his buddy Sethy, worth a watch also

Don't you mean repository?
That Church one is great. I've only ridden in WNC twice but I still want to get back there. So rad.I'm so hardcore, I'm gnarcore.

The From Where We Stand series definitely has some great footage, and it's nice to see film that didn't originate in British Colombia, but a lot of it feels like an infomercial for the local riding clubs.
Church kicks ass and makes me psyched to get back to Pisgah soon.

From where we stand peaked early I thought, but was still decent. Agreed there was way too much talking. I haven't made it out of New England for riding yet, but I feel like they could've shown a lot more varied terrain if they had left the mid-Atlantic.
This popped up on facebook earlier today:

Mid-winter bump; revised version of the Where we stand as one a longer and better edit:

Cut out most of my complaints about the individual episodes.
