Silverton Hotels
They seem pretty similar. Any reason to prefer one over the other? Just looking for clean, comfortable and within extremely easy walking distance to decent food and a couple of beers.

Silverton is a REALLY small town.. we usually stay at the grand... cool historic vibe.

One of the guide's wife manages the Triangle (or at least used to).

I have stayed at the Triangle. It is fine. Friends have stayed there too. Have fun.

I've stayed at both the grand and triangle, I like the old historic feeling at the grand and the bar at grumpys is pretty cool. Anywhere you stay in Silverton you can walk to everything, the place is small. Another option if there are a few of you is to check vrbo, we've rented a house the last few times and it's been cheaper and more convenient for storing gear.

Some have refrigerators, some don't. 'Frigerators are handy if you want to bring sandwich fixings for your lunch.

I prefer canyon view the best in Silverton. Then Triangle, then the Grand Imperial.
