MLB 2014
Never too early to get it started.
Heading to Spring Training again this year. We'll be in Tampa 3/22 - 3/30, and will have tickets for the home games that week.
Warthog - you going to be around?

Following up on the Cano deal, the Seattle Mariners reportedly 'near their spending limit' after signing a couple of beer guys and a frozen lemonade girl (8th inning?). I'd go 2-1 against Cano hitting .300 while bookended by .235 hitters.

Anyone interested in doing a maggot fantasy baseball league this year. I'm a complete novice and am in fantasy football withdrawl already.

Was doing some research and it looks like head to head points leagues are getting popular. You only set your line-ups once per week and either win, lose, or tie the week. The top teams in August do a play offs. Supposed to be no more time committing than f football.

Hey irul, love what youve done with the starting rotation
Ice- you sold on Jackie Bradley Jr as an everyday player? Or is it Gomes/Victorino/Nava in the OF?Decisions Decisions

There's no doubt in my mind he can play the position every day, but the bat is worrisome and he has so little history it's hard to say. My gut is he can hit about like Ellsbury, maybe not .297 (Ellsbury's career numbe) but maybe ~.285 but I'm not really positive what I'm basing that on. Maybe I'm basing it on not wanting to see Gomes in the field every day.

Yeah, I think Bradley, Vic and Nava/Gomes rotation FTW. He can bat .225 if he runs down the balls in center he's capable of. The bat will come around with time.

I think Victorino will play center and JBJ will platoon with Gomes for now. Victorino is just as good in center. In any event, Yankees suck

Oh really. Just because he was in a fairly small market on a sucky team and didn't get caught? Please. Dude is another roid giant. I mean, I'll trust a pitcher like Maddox or Glavine, but, Thomas is one lucky man.

Jack Morris=Ray Guy. Stupid fawking writers.
Biggio was robbed. Maybe next time. PED era will affect even those not associated with the shit. CB was a stud, put up tremendous numbers, and was above suspicion. Eventually they are going to have to look past the roid scandal.Did the last unsatisfied fat soccer mom you took to your mom's basement call you a fascist? -irul&ublo
