Edited: what I thought my buddy told me was not correct, sorry for the false story

Most major ski manufacturers state drill diameter and depth for a given ski. There are skis that are thinner and need a drill shorter than 9mm. I can see an new tech missing that. Still should have replaced the skis for that fuck up though.

Oops my bad. I touched base with him again because I couldn’t remember the details. I’ve edited my original post on AH.

My buddy drilled through the skis and asked AH to do a core repair, but when he picked the skis up, they hadn’t fixed it, just done a basic tune on them. Still not great but much better than what I thought he told me.

Rumor is Fred can be found at Shred now. So for those who enjoyed his handiwork — should be able to find him there.

I don’t think I ever snowboarded lift access on Memorial Day weekend. That was pretty awesome. Now I can start putting stuff away.

For those who bike, couple mags rolling out next weekend (11/12).

Planning Sekani/beacon + Shuttle assisted/pedal Mt Spokane. Beers/dinners at my place.

Come ride — was up at Mt Spokane Friday. Things are running pretty great. 140 just got brushed. Upper 290 still has patches of snow. Lower 290 is primo!!

Ping me and I can send details.

    Non-ski Spokane question:

Looking to connect with the local tech / entrepreneur scene. Where do folks hang out? Cafes, etc.

I'm tuned in to ignite NW. What other communities, meetups are there?

    Thanks, y'all.

Check in with April Needham at the WSU Innovation Center. Great gal and connection for university related innovation as well as connected with the local ecosystem.

Saw that, stoked! I’ll be back at Jackass this year. Got the one year up at Schwiz out of my system.

Couldn’t handle all that gnar gnar up at $chwiz eh?

We welcome you back to Silver; you know it’s a family hill with nice slow fixed grips. We never worry about leg pump as chair 2 and 4 like to breakdown often for extended backpack beer tasting sessions.

You can also get numb peepee up there. Pro tip: skiing is more comfortable when you don’t have a gaping hole in your crotch

No amount of workouts will ever prepare my legs for having the blood cut off at mid hamstring from sitting on a riblet chair. So quit being a dick.

Inflation is a bitch these days. Roll of gorilla tape costs the same as new ski pants so I went with new pants
