Once. I rocked this one day. Sort of awkward to ski in.

Just sorta pondering the options for ass cape fashion. Beaver tail print is too silly, flag print maybe a bit disrespectful... DIY duct tape ass cape? Ooh, gorilla tape.

I might try it. Might supplant the crabbing gear once in a while.

    Thanks man!

Glad someone is getting it. Hopefully my turn will come soon...

I can’t believe it’s been a year since that inbound slide. It was a close call for us and shook me up a bit for few days after.

    Be careful everyone!

bought my Buttflap in whitefish 30 yrs ago, way better for bending the knees than PVC bibs; Hotbunz is a current brand I think.
Duct tape would be maggoty but slick on the chair.
swizz was fun, braile powder up high, debbie sue rocked but had almost as much fun cruising low angle cream cheese on the board, like a big frosting knife

I noticed the same: the heft of the recent droppings seems to have favored flatter slopes than I usually expect. Wind effects maybe? Still glad not to be any less misfortunate yesterday.

One year ago today, three people perished at Silver Mountain in an inbounds avalanche. Today, the danger scale is High with more storms rolling in. Take a moment today to honor those who died last year and to remember all who have gone before us. RIP, crew.

I am working in the valley today and just left the base area. Said a word for those who passed a year ago. Somber feeling.

Oops, my bad. I was thinking today is Jan 7. It's actually tomorrow. Regardless, please remember and honor those who have fallen.

No biggie, didn’t feel like a correction was necessary. Thanks for reminding peeps. I won’t be up here tomorrow so paid some respects today from the base.

third lot was beginning to fill by noon
    at Jackass N today
chair 5 down made it feel
    a little crowded....

    piste was soft and uneven
    camber/rocker made it pop!

    off-piste was tracked,
a few uncut lines left over

    that is all

I've been struggling off-piste so far this season. just too chopped & firm. exposed a few pairs of skis i bought off season as unfit for this hill. exposed some weaknesses in my technique too. and i have yet to mount up my BGs, WDs, Bones and Black Ops. time to get the chop busters going. hopefully we'll get a dump or two soon. and sounds like C5 will be back this week. hopefully Monday so we can get freshies without the crowds.

Schwiz was guud all day long.

Started with the obligatory whacking with @LVS and @Jackattack different hill same shenanigans. That line almost went...

Linked up later with @shroom and his crew and skied bell to bell!

    Hell of a day!

SCHWEEEET!! Sorry boys as I am not ready to shred with a big rowdy crew. Next time.
Silver was way better than expected. 4-6” new over most of the mountain with the usual spots loaded with 8” over a nice soft base.
Groomers were super carvy and fast. Poked around in my super secret haunts for a bunch of untouched lines, stoked nobody stumbled on them.
Visibility was in and out with a few moments of inside the ping pong ball.
