I’m very glad I bailed on the panhandle this weekend.

Sounds like it’s shit everywhere. Can’t wait for the next series of storms rolling in this week.

Where silver was bad, it was real bad. South facing stuff corned up awesome. Lapped the shit out of chair 1 face. Super soft n fast. Lots of fun features to pop off. Groomers were super fast. Not to many Jerry’s skiing allowing a guy to really open things up. Glad I went.

To avoid embarrassing myself by posting in the wrong thread, is Whitefish considered the Inland NW?

    2013/14 Inland PNW thread

I’ll be rolling into the schwizz tomorrow morning. Anyone want to spin some laps let me know.
False alarm. Schweitzer didn’t get much. Silver has a foot. I’m headed to silver.

I think whitefish occupies a no man's land that doesn't really fit in any of the existing threads, but isn't big enough to warrant its own.

It's west of the Rockies and just south of CA, why not?

    True.

Well then.... whitefish was decent today. 3" reported overnight was more like 7". Not enough to totally bury the firmness, but enough to ski well.

Shit's gonna be sketchy this weekend. Hope nobody does anything stupid in the canyon.

Lots mostly untouched lines still to be had at silver. Spied 2funky taking some gnarly turns from the lift on his praxis boards.

Not light enough for faceshots but still some fun snow

Funny takes longer to get to Turner than 1 hour. Silver was fun but the Powder Pigs we're all about.

    drizzle,
    low viz,
    wind,
    rain crust,
    race kids and
    gaping hordes:

Hahah yeah silver had fog and wind crust. But still had some fucking amazing turns on upper north glades and trenches were laid under 3. Goats were in their element and fun was had with action jack, 2Funky, and Mrs SkiLyft who’s nickname is apparently bear bait after last weeks touring adventure.
