Going to Silver tomorrow. Did anybody go today? Mt. Spokane was foggy and heavy. Hopefully tomorrow isn’t today’s repeat.

Right there with ya. I had shuffled the schedule to hit first chair, even put warm wax on for the first time in ages. But if they're not gonna reach for the snow level I'm not leaving the house. Dammit. Hopefully see you Sunday.

The 80 min download which included a 50 minute stop due to a down tree on power lines was extra special, never rained on me, and upper Mtn provided some sweet turns, won't rehash the lower Ch 3.

You realize that Avista cut the power to remove the tree from their power line, right? So not really a silver issue.....
Been stuck on snow ghost for 45 min before as well as the triple. Schweitzer gonna Schweitzer.

My cabin had just gone past the tree that went down and I heard it the loud bang from the power line and some metallic noises, when I got off the couple in the cabin behind me saw the whole thing. Even watched the Avista crew go in and out plus the chainsaw,. Second longest stop in 21 seasons.

That’s crazy! Always carry provisional supplies for the gondola stranding. No smoking in cabin unless stranded!

I heard about it and so glad I went back to sleep. I’m not worried about smoking or anything like that but using bathroom would have been my top concern especially when you don’t know how long you are going to be stuck there... there was no communication right?

Left early so no beer for the ride down was a good thing, plus water bottle in pack just in case called in after sitting 30 min since I had seen the Avista crew going back out I knew they were not lying about starting back up soon
