Slightly irksome that they still haven't decided on the name of the new lift.

I heard they did a fuck ton of brush cutting skiers right below midway (or at least they were going to), so the mountain might ski differently. I did some exploring in that area (called BootHill on the map), and there are some nice pitches, it just needs clearing.

That’s always been skiable, if you were willing to ride the bobsled trail out. Hardly worth the effort.

FYI they switched around the numbering for the new lift. The new quad is now 1, the old shitbox is 8 for some reason before they rip it out next spring.

    NO SOUP FOR YOU!!!
I'm gonna start calling $hwizz the S$chietzer club.

    Full Day Tickets - 9:00am to 3:30pm

Schweitzer is planning to opening for the Winter 2021/22 ski season on Friday, November 26, 2021 (weather permitting) with limited operations on Basin Express and Midway. Due to the overwhelming response to our season pass sales and the early season limited terrain, we will not sell any day lift tickets in an effort to manage the expected turn out.
Currently, we will not have any day tickets available and skiing will be for passholders only for the first couple of weeks of the season until on or about December 15. As always, this is subject to change with little notice.
If we can open more terrain and lifts we can move our day tickets sales date forward. Late next week, we will hopefully “light up” and sell ticket inventory for the main portion of the season from December 15 to mid-March.

If you have to ask you can't afford it!

    .
maybe thats part of their Evil Plan:
    entice the anxious pass holders,
then expose them to a high-risk environment ....
some are bound to go uber-kinetic and be out for the season,
make more room for the Ikoners

I just relocated back home to Montana after living 10 plus years in Salt Lake. I'm living in Whitefish area. I'm looking to meet folks that backcountry ski up here. Is this the correct thread for touring/skiing in the the Flathead? About myself, I work in tech as an engineering manager. I've back country skied for over 12 years and have skied ALL the Wasatch and Utah classic lines! I'm also down to ski Whitefish resort since I have a pass. Hoping you guys can help get me pointed in the right direction!

Oof. Season opening looks a long ways off. I hope The Nina makes up for it with a long snowy season. I’m planning a December trip to Revy where they actually have snow

Yeah, pretty rough coming from Utah where I already have 12 days under my belt! Especially considering I have the next couple of weeks off work too! Oh well, I'll take the Montana vibe with minimal snow over Utah any day! Haha

it looks like the Jackass North Overlords
are missing out on a once-in-a-lifetime PR opportunity:
auction off the first public ride on the first chair of the New Lift on opening day.
then, donate the cash to the Chewelah food bank or other local charity ....
    hype that bitch up!

its probably not too late if they move fast,
